Brief review of the Spruce Pro Sport risers with Tyrolia SL100 bindings. I have used these on the Spruce 120 STS boards and Summit Custom 110s. These risers are really high quality units. Construction is very good. I didn't weigh them but just feeling the weight of them in my hands I would say they are definitely "not heavy". The Tyrolia bindings are very nice. The "SL" designated stands for "Super Light". I can definitely say the heelpiece is lighter than other bindings. I have a set of Salomon 610 bindings mounted on a Spruce Composite riser. I took one of the Composite risers with the Salomon bindings and one of the Pro Sport risers with the Tyrolia bindings, held them in each hand and swung them back and forth. The heel of the Pro Sport had noticeably less weight and less inertia in the movements. I have been out on these twice - one on each set of boards - and they performed great. Had 2 falls on the 120s in mounded up snow and both times the bindings released without any noticeable torque on my knees.
